Microwave cook times may vary depending on oven wattage. Remove outer packaging and pierce film several times. Microwave for 6 minutes at 70% power; carefully remove film and continue to microwave for 1 minute longer. Let sit for 1 minute before serving.

Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F for 10 minutes; remove outer packaging and pierce film several times. Place on a baking sheet on center rack of oven (DO NOT PLACE TRAY DIRECTLY ON OVEN RACK) and heat for 35 to 40 minutes. Carefully remove film and continue to heat for 5 minutes longer. Let sit for 1 minute before serving.

Cooking Notes

We prefer cooking in the oven compared to the microwave. We also don’t prefer cooking our food in plastic, so we removed the plastic wrap completely and also put the frozen Chile Relleno in an oven safe dish. We used a piece of aluminum foil to cover so – to prevent burning the Chile.
