Cooking Notes
These come out of the oven a bit greasy, but a quick sit on a tea towel will absorb some of the excess oil. Cooking on a wire mesh sheet will also help.
When we saw these in the freezer section of our local TJ’s, we knew we had to try them. We had a feeling we’d love them, and we were right.
What’s not to love about these little treats?
The shrimp is plentiful, the bread is made with just a kiss of sweetness, and the sesame seeds add a subtle, but nice little pop of flavor.
They cook up fast, and will disappear from your plate just as fast.
They make for an impressive appetizer at dinner parties, and they work equally well as a pre-dinner treat any day of the week. Enjoy!

Summary : No surprise here - these Shrimp Toasts are delicious. They lost a few points for coming out of the oven a bit greasy, but they still make for a delicious snack or appetizer.
These were the best appetizers EVER! and TJ’s had to go and discontinue them. Makes my so very sad and I can’t seem to find a copycat recipe.
